Get involved with Reading Town Canada - May 2-9 2015
In May 2015, the National Reading Campaign, in partnership with the PEI Literacy Alliance and the Confederation Centre Public Library, will turn Charlottetown into Reading Town Canada. The official sponsor for the one-week festival is TD Bank Group. The Community Foundation of PEI is a sponsor as well.
What is Reading Town?
For one week, Islanders will weave reading into every aspect of their lives through a series of highly publicized, exciting, fun events. Imagine having a poem delivered with your pizza, having a chance to hear your favourite author read, taking a "story walk” through a local park, having a blind date with a book, or finding a tiny lending library at the end of your street.
